Dr. Carola Weil became the University of Minnesota’s new vice provost for international affairs and senior international officer on August 24, 2026. She leads the Global Programs and Strategy Alliance—the University’s central international office—and will continue to advance the University as a global leader in international teaching, research, and outreach.
