Please join the Global Programs and Strategy Alliance and the University of Minnesota Libraries as we celebrate new additions to the University Archives that highlight our rich and pioneering history of internationalization.
Important documents in the history of international programs—including the papers of Dr. Josef Mestenhauser—have been digitized and made accessible to the public. Several original historical documents will be on view during the event, with brief presentations on how the history and these documents remain relevant today.
Hear from the new Vice Provost for International Affairs Carola Weil, as well as Barbara Kappler Mikk, former Assistant Dean for International Student and Scholar Services, and Katelyn Morken, Research Services Archivist, who worked together on this project. Scholars Jos Beleen and Eva Janebova will share their invaluable connections to Josef Mestenhauser and the new archive collections.
