Wale Falade founded FIHÀN Design + Architecture, which is leading the renovation of North Commons Park in Minneapolis. The firm's name means "to reveal" in Yoruba, one of the languages Falade spoke growing up in Lagos, Nigeria.
Falade is also principal at Locus Architecture and president of the National Organization of Minority Architects Minneapolis-St. Paul chapter (MSP-NOMA).
