Nine faculty and instructors from across the University of Minnesota system will take part in the Fall 2023 Internationalizing Teaching and Learning Cohort Program, which helps participants integrate global, international, and intercultural learning into their course design and delivery.

The Fall 2023 Cohort is composed of faculty and instructors from all five UMN campuses looking to incorporate aspects of global learning into their syllabi. Their goals for participating range from encouraging cross-cultural discussions and gaining new perspectives to creating a sense of community and an equitable learning environment for students.

“We haven’t had this cohort since 2020 so I’m excited to dive back in and work with this new community of faculty who are dedicated to deepening  international, intercultural, and global learning for their students,” said program director Yuliya Kartoshkina. “This program gives an opportunity for faculty to connect and work together with colleagues from different disciplines and different campuses with a shared goal to prepare global-ready graduates. That’s what makes this program so unique!”
