As the Director of Global Opportunities (GO) Minnesota, Kimy develops and promotes short-term study programs for international students to take classes for an academic year, semester, or summer at the University of Minnesota. Kimy values the importance of building strong relationships with partner institutions and organizations to enhance international student mobility. Through these partnerships, she strives to create new avenues for students to broaden their global network and academic experiences.

Kimy studied abroad in Spain as an undergraduate student, and holds a dual B.A. in Communication Sciences and Spanish, along with an M.A. in Postsecondary Education: Student Affairs from the University of Northern Iowa.
