ISSS's advisor training is held once per semester. It is intended for new or seasoned academic advisors, Graduate Program Coordinators, career counselors, and student services staff who work with international students.

  • Arrival processes and communications
• Break or tour of ISSS for in-person participants: 30 minutes
• Part two: 45 minutes
  • Decoding the advisor role in immigration
  • How students maintain legal status
  • Overview of on-campus and off-campus work options
