The International Recruitment Committee provides expertise, shares information, and brings constituents together to ensure the Twin Cities campus enrolls a diverse and academically strong international student body.
Mission
Under the auspices of the Global Programs and Strategy Alliance, the International Recruitment Committee brings together key representatives from across the Twin Cities campus to provide visibility and ensure a collaborative recruitment strategy by:
- Monitoring trends and issues that affect international student enrollment
- Providing guidance on international student recruitment strategy
- Advocating for policies and procedures that support a diverse and academically strong international student community
- Sharing collective expertise and resources with University leadership and external stakeholders
- Collaborating across colleges and units to optimize recruitment initiatives
- Providing visibility for recruitment efforts and advocating for the value of international students in our world-class research institution
