CARLA Director Delivers Keynote at the Consortium for Language Teaching and Learning

Kate Paesani, director of the Center for Advanced Research on Language Acquisition (CARLA), visited Yale University on October 24-25 to give the keynote address at the 2025 workshop of the Consortium for Language Teaching and Learning. Seventy-five members of the consortium attended the workshop and represented Ivy League universities, MIT, and the University of Chicago. 

Dr. Paesani's keynote, "Professional Learning as Praxis: Rethinking How We Mentor Language Teacher-Scholars," kicked off a weekend of plenary presentations and collaborative discussions on the topic of mentoring, with a specific focus on graduate students and early career faculty.
