Two Val Bjornson exchange students from Iceland pose with UMN t-shirts

The University of Minnesota and the University of Iceland have enjoyed more than 35 years of exchange. Over these years, more than 40 students from Iceland have come to study at the University of Minnesota with support from the Val Björnson Icelandic Exchange Scholarship. Faculty and staff from the University of Iceland can receive funding from the Carol Pazandak Iceland-Minnesota Travel Fund to visit Minnesota to conduct research or other activities.
