Registering Your Travel When Traveling with Students

Program through an Education Abroad Office

If you are serving as a program leader for a group of students* AND working through one of the education abroad offices listed below, please register using the process and appropriate link below.

Program Leader Requirements

This online process will facilitate completion of the following program leader requirements:

  • Register with the University of Minnesota Faculty and Staff International Travel Registry
  • Apply for CISI International Insurance
  • Sign the Program Leader Acknowledgement Form

Registration Process

After clicking the link below and authenticating, you will be asked to provide the following:

  • Locations and dates of travel
  • Program term and name
  • Leader date of birth
  • Leader passport information
  • Leader emergency contact in the U.S.

Programs to Travel Warning Countries

Student travel to countries on the U.S. Department of State Travel Warning list must be approved by the University's International Travel Risk Assessment and Advisory Committee.
