Yuliya Kartoshkina, PhD,  is Program Director for Internationalizing Curriculum and Campus team. She leads training programs on internationalizing the curriculum and works with faculty and instructors from different disciplines across the University of Minnesota system. Yuliya is dedicated to supporting faculty in deepening international, intercultural, and global learning for their students. She has over 20 years of experience in international and intercultural education, training, and research. Yuliya received her Ph.D. in Educational Foundations and Research at the University of North Dakota. Yuliya’s recent research and publications focus on effective course design in curriculum internationalization; deepening intercultural learning through COIL experiences; and practical applications from cultural neuroscience to enhancing intercultural learning.
