This highly interactive workshop is for faculty and instructors who seek to add or enhance the global dimensions of their courses. Respected "master teacher" and curriculum design expert Dr. L. Dee Fink will collaborate with members of the University's Internationalizing Teaching and Learning team to deliver this unique workshop.

About Dr. Fink
Dr. L. Dee Fink founded the Instructional Development Program at the University of Oklahoma and served as its director until his retirement in May 2005. Dr. Fink was president of the POD Network (Professional and Organizational Development) in Higher Education (2004-2005), the primary professional organization for faculty developers, and is the author of “Creating Significant Learning Experiences: An Integrated Approach to Designing College Courses” (Jossey-Bass, 2003) and co-editor of “Team-Based Learning: A Transformative Use of Small Groups in College Teaching” (Stylus, 2004). Dr. Fink currently works as a national consultant in higher education. More information about his work can be found on his website.
- Light refreshments will be provided; a list of local lunch options will be made available for workshop participants.
- Participants from outside of the University of Minnesota system will be charged a $50 registration fee to attend the workshop. Further instructions for payment will be sent after registration.
