2014 Judd Fellows Expo

The annual Judd Fellows Expo was held on Oct. 7, 2014, at the McNamara Alumni Center on the University of Minnesota's East Bank campus. Enthusiastic supporters attended the Expo to hear the 2014 Judd Fellows talk about their experiences abroad. Speakers included Meredith McQuaid, associate vice president and dean of international programs, who announced that, thanks to support from Judd Fellow alumni and matching funds from Carol and Cliff Stiles, a Judd Alumni Fellowship will be awarded in 2015.

Speakers also included 2008 Judd Fellow alumni Elizabeth Hutchinson Kruger and Sarah Sevcik, who talked about the impact of their Judd Fellowships on their careers. As Judd Fellows, Elizabeth and Sarah both participated in a Child Survival Monitoring and Evaluation Internship in Tanzania. Elizabeth is now an evaluation officer with Margaret A. Cargill Philanthropies, and Sarah is an instructor at the University of Minnesota and St. Olaf College, adjunct faculty at the University of St. Thomas, and a coordinator at the University of Minnesota's Rothenberger Institute.
